　　Never Give Up: Inspired by The Old Man and the Sea

　　Last year, I tried to learn long - distance running. The first week, my legs ached, and I could barely finish 1 km. Just like Santiago in The Old Man and the Sea, who fought the giant marlin, I refused to quit. I kept training, rain or shine. After months, I ran a 5 - km race and finished with a smile. This experience taught me that no matter how tough the challenge, perseverance leads to victory. We should never give up, just like the old man’s unwavering spirit.
