　　（五）不定代词

　　1、both/either/neither：

　　both（两者都 ，谓语用复数 ）；either（两者任一 ，谓语用单数 ）；neither（两者都不 ，谓语用单数 ） 。例：Both of us like English.（我们俩都喜欢英语 ）；Either answer is right.（两个答案任一正确 ）；Neither of them comes.（他俩都没来 ）。

　　2、a few/few/a little/little：

　　a few（肯定，修饰可数名词，“一些” ）；few（否定，“几乎没有” ，修饰可数名词 ）；a little（肯定，修饰不可数名词，“一点儿” ）；little（否定，“几乎没有” ，修饰不可数名词 ） 。

　　例：There are a few apples.（有一些苹果 ）；Few people know it.（几乎没人知道 ）；I have a little water.（我有一点儿水 ）；Little time is left.（几乎没剩下时间 ）

　　3、other/the other/another/others/the others：

　　other（其他的 ，后接名词 ）；the other（两者中另一个 ，常与 one 搭配：one...the other... ）；another（三者及以上另一个 ，后接单数名词 ）；others（其他一些 ，表复数，相当于 “other + 名词” ）；the others（其余全部 ，相当于 “the other + 名词复数” ） 。

　　例：Other students are here.（其他学生在这儿 ）；One is red, the other is blue.（一个红，另一个蓝 ）；I want another book.（我想要另一本书 ）；Some are here, others are there.（一些在这，其他在那 ）；The others are all right.（其余全对 ）。

　　4、复合不定代词：如 something（某事 / 物 ）、anything（任何事 / 物 ，常用于否定 / 疑问句 ）、nothing（没什么 ）、everything（一切 ）等 。修饰词放后面 ，比如 something interesting（有趣的事 ） 。

　　5、none/no one：

　　none（可指人 / 物，回答 how many/much 提问 ）；no one（仅指人，回答 who 提问 ） 。

　　例：—How many books? —None.（— 多少本书？— 一本也没 ）；—Who is here? —No one.（— 谁在这儿？— 没人 ）。
