　　①　表示“又一，再一”时

　　Eg: They wanted to try a second time.

　　②　序数词前有物主代词或名词所有格时

　　Eg: It’s my 60th birthday.

　　This is Lily’s twelfth book.

　　③　“序数词+名词”构成合成形容词时

　　Eg: There will be a second-hand clothes shop on this street.

　　④　固定搭配

　　Eg: at first, first of all,  every four years

　　⑤　序数词用作副词时

　　Eg: He came first.
