日期、年代
(1)用基数词表示“年”,年代是四位数时,常先读读前两位数,再读后两位数。
Eg: 2023年 读作 twenty twenty-three
(2)英语中通常为“月、日、年”
Eg: 2009年10月25日: October 25(th)，2009
读作 October the twenty fifth, two thousand and nine
(3)表达“……世纪……年代”时,在表达年份的阿拉伯数字后加-s或-'s。
Eg: 20世纪 90 年代:the 1990s或the 1990's 读作 the nineteen nineties
18 世纪 40年代:the 1740s 或 the 1740's 读作 the seventeen forties
