副词及其比较等级

副词用来修饰动词、形容词、副词或整个句子的词，表示地点、时间、状态或程度。

中考考点整合

1.副词的位置

(1)修饰动词，通常放在动词之后。

He writes very carefully.

(2)修饰形容词、副词时，则放在它们之前。但当enough修饰形容词或副词时，则应放在它们之后。

The bag is too heavy for me to carry.这个包对我来说太重了而提不动。

Roberts are clever enough to do the same thing as people.

机器人足够聪明可以做和人类同样的事情。

(3)多个状语在一起使用时，按地点状语+时间状语且按由小到大的顺序排列。

He was playing basketball on the playground in our school at five yeaterday.

昨天下午3点他在我们学校操场上打篮球。

2.常用副词的区别

(1)ago,before

前者用法是：时间段+ago，用于一般过去时，而时间段+before用于完成时。

(2)already, yet

这两个都可以用在完成时中，但前者用于肯定的陈述句中，yet用于否定句和疑问句中。

(3)also, too, either, as well

这四个词均有“也”之意。但在句中的位置和所用的句式不相同。also用于肯定句中，too用于肯定句末，either用于否定句末，as well用于肯定句末。

3.频度副词always , usually , often sometimes , hardly ever等的用法

它们在句中的位置大致相同。通常放在行为动词之前，系动词be、助动词和情态动词之后，但它们所表示的含义及频度是各不相同的。

(1)always的频度为100%， 表示动作重复、状态继续，中间没有间断，意思是“总是”。如：

The sun always rises in the east and sets in the west.

(2)usually的频度为70%左右，意为“通常”“平常”，即很少有例外。如：

He is often late for school.

(4)sometimes的频度为20%左右，意为“有时”，表示动作偶尔发生。可以位于句首，以示强调。如：

It is sometimes hot and sometimes cold.

(5)hardly (ever)的频度为5%左右，意为“几乎不”“简直不”，常和ever连用表示强调。如：

I hardly ever go out these days.

对频率副词提问用how often。如：

—How often do you go to the cinema?

—I hardly ever watch the movie,but sometimes I watch Beijing Opera.

—How often do you have a sports meeting?

—Twice a year.

4. 副词比较级和最高级的用法和形容词比较级和最高级的用法基本相同。
