that有时可用作关系副词来代替when, 引导一个定语从句，修饰表示时间的名词，如day, time, moment等。

例如： 
I arrived here the day that (=when) he left.我是在他离开的那天到达这儿的。 
He worked hard the whole time that (=when)he lived here.他在这里的整个时间工作都很努力。
