　　Step 2. Section B 1a

　　First let students look at the days of the week at the top of the calendar in the book. Read these words to the class and ask them to repeat.

　　Then display a current wall calendar and ask a student to point out today's date.

　　Point to the numbers showing the dates of the current week and ask students to copy these numbers into the calendar in their books.
